Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.
Omar Khayyam
Tomorrow is a national holiday in my country, it is the day we celebrate our Independence. Family’s gather for food, fun, frolic and even fireworks. I hope it is a time when we remember we need each other. With so much animosity and conflict around us we truly need to care for each other, it is a time for a return to civility. We can’t change everyone else but we can do our part by not being part of the problem,
There will be no Daily tomorrow as I am giving my computer the day off. But I do want to leave you some thoughts that I picked up a while sgo.
Thoughts For The Day
Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.
If you want your dreams to come true, you mustn’t oversleep.
Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.
The best vitamin for making friends….. B1!
The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge.
One thing you can give and still keep…is your word.
You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself
If you lack the courage to start, you have already finished.
One thing you can’t recycle is wasted time.
Ideas won’t work unless ‘You’ do.
Your mind is like a parachute…it functions only when open.
The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice.
The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime!
It is never too late to become what you might have been.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right, and forget about the ones who don’t.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it change’s your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back.
Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we’ve let them fly away.
Sometimes we are so caught up in who’s right and who’s wrong that we forget what’s right and wrong.

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

A man was wandering around a fairground and he happened to see a fortune-teller’s tent. Thinking it would be good for a laugh, he went inside and sat down.
“Ah…..” said the woman as she gazed into her crystal ball. “I see you are the father of two children.”
“That’s what you think,” said the man scornfully. “I’m the father of THREE children.”
The woman grinned and said, “That’s what YOU think.”

There’s always one of my uncles who watches a boxing match with me and says “Sure. Ten million dollars. You know, for that kind of money, I’d fight him.” As if someone is going to pay $200 a ticket to see a 57-year-old carpet salesman get hit in the face once and cry.

“I’d like something cheap and nasty for my mother-in-law’s birthday,” said the customer to the store clerk
The clerk thought for a moment and then said,
“Why, I think I’ve got the very thing, sir.”
“What’s that?” asks the customer excitedly.
“My father-in-law!” came the reply.

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain… To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices – today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.
